It was another nerve racking day of printing my designs digitally and, despite a few complications when it came to steaming, I must admit I feel slightly more confident about these deigns and where my final collection may be heading.
Oversized florals in sweet summer colours were printed on silk viscose satin on a large scale to showcase the drawings at their best quality to work in to using hand processes like devoré. It is an exciting but scary process of printing designs at this kind of scale as I have never attempted it before so was unsure of the results, colours and whether it would be pixelated or not. But so far so good!
