About

Lisa Jayne Quick is a Printed Textile Designer who is passionate and enthusiastic about creating beautiful prints for the textile market.

Educated at the University of Derby where she studied a BA (Hons) in Textile Design, Lisa is skilled in silk-screen and digital printing on a variety of fabrics. She is mostly self taught in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator platforms using a Wacom Graphic Tablet.
Naturally, Lisa likes to hand draw or paint elements and/or designs before manipulating them together on computer using filters or layers to create eye catching and in-depth designs. She is able to work on multiple projects at one times and can translate runway trends to commercial designs.

Having completed work experience at Pattern Textiles and George @ Asda, Lisa used her freshly gained skills in her role of Junior Print Designer at Knitmania UK LTD before becoming a full time freelance designer for luxury studio Acorn Conceptual Textiles.

Her drive and desire to achieve great things in the industry of printed textiles never fails to stop her pushing new boundaries and gaining new skills. Lisa is able to work in strong teams and on her own accord to convey key trends and teach new ideas and techniques.

"This blog is a chance for me to just share with my readers what is inspiring me, what I am working on and what prints I am loving. I have always loved writing and enjoy writing up about fashion, trends, colours and more on this little blog of mine. I hope you enjoy the read."

Please contact Lisa via email for design opportunities and/or work samples not available online.
