Yesterday was probably the most scared I have ever felt digitally printing any of my designs so far during this collection. I printed on a new fabric (Cotton Polyester/Rayon/Linen Pandora) which does not have the weight or feel of anything I have printed on before. I was also printing in a new style of printing with more repeat elements and softer colours with a new darker background.
Things did go slightly wrong with the colour not being so strong in some areas and the smaller designs being more attracting so should have been printed bigger. The fabric is so lovely and soft but quite heavy and not something that has overly appealed to me and something I will be hesitant to use again.
